Depending on how big your backyard is, whether it's a suburban lot or a large acreage, perhaps. But horses like companionship, and do better with one or two other horses or ponies to socialize with. Often the rule of thumb for horses is to have one horse per 3 acres, no less.
yes it is aslong as it has a sable and it out everyday
When you are riding on another horse behind a horse, always keep the space of an "imaginary horse" between the two of you. If you are just walking behind a horse, run your hand along their behind to let them know you are there, and if is a bigger horse just make a circle around it.
The easiest way would be to keep the horse away from where the leaches live. Otherwise they will just keep reattaching themselves to the horse.
A Stallion, being a gender of horse, live just about anywhere you can keep a horse.
Winter Horse blankets an be made of fleece, or another heavy fabric, usually waterproof to keep the horse dry!
If they offer livery then you can keep it there or at another yard that offers livery, but it will cost.
Just keep kicking, and roll your hips into the saddle.
Just let your horse sniff and check out what the pole is then go up to the pole and if your horse spooks out just keep going towards the pole until your horse finally will go over the pole.
It would depend on what you are trying to keep out of you backyard. If you want to just keep out the neighbors dog you can buy some regular size panels or longer panels can be used to add flair to your backyard. In some cases building codes will dictate the size fencing that can be used. If there are no code restrictions then it is up too your preference.
maybe. ask yourself this - is my backyard flat? does my backyard have adequate shelter, like a shed or a run-in? do i have a small barn or at least somewhere to go to get out of the rain and cold? is my backyard filled with weeds that could be poisonous to my horse? is my backyard filled with trees that could be hazardous in a storm, or produce nuts that could make my horse ill? do i live in a nieghborhood that will even accept a horse? will my land support him?or is it muddy with little grass? will he have company- if not another mini then at least a goat. horses are herd animals- without a conpanion they can become very ill. do i have good fencing? NEVER do barbed-wire badbadbad also none of that wire that looks like a grid he could catch his hooves in it. a sturdy non splintery wood fence is best. Do wild animals or snakes live around the area?do i have the money to pay for vet and farrier bills? will i rememer my horse's dewormer? can i pay for vaccinations? can i pay to repair any damages that may occur to the fencing or shelters? there is so much more too-but I'm getting bored. horses need a LOT of work, a LOT of love and attention and a LOT of money so just be careful... :)
I would most likely keep a Phoenix in my backyard
