I would not recommend it. Get something that is made for cleaning out ears, such as Chlorohexaderm, etc. Ears are very sensitive inside. Ask your Veterinarian what to use also.
No, witch hazel should not be put directly in your eyes. It is an astringent derived from the bark and leaves of the witch hazel plant and is primarily used for skin applications. If you have eye irritation or issues, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for appropriate treatments. Applying witch hazel to the eye area can cause irritation or adverse reactions.

It's best to get herbal liquids to clean your dogs ears. It can be bought from a health food store or your vet. I use Q-tips and put a little squirt down the ear of my dog, then gently (not too deep) use the Q-tip to keep my dog healthy so they don't get ear infections. I also clean my dogs ears out after they have been swimming. There can be all sorts of infections from trapped water, bacteria from the water and other pets around. Another thing I do is once a week I smell my dogs ears. If there is no odor then their ears are fine, but if there is a musty odor or an unpleasant odor you can be sure your dog has the start of an ear infection. Yes you can use baby oil. Place several drops in the ears, massage the ears and make the oil soak in. then let the dog or cat shake their head like crazy the ear mites should come "flying" out of the ears due to the force of the head shaking and the oil making them slide out. {For those of you who say that this is cruel: 1. My vet recommended this. 2. Putting chemicals in the animals ears is way worse, what if they are allergic?}
To put an ear cover with a bridle, you put the EAR NET over the ears and then put the bridle on over it.
Examine your dogs ear. If there is a waxy substance, clean the ear with water and cotton wool twice a day. If it doesn't clear up in 7 days, contact your Vet. If the ear smells make a vet appointment as its a infection.
