Not recommended! Human shampoo is too strong for dogs, or so my vet tells me. The P.H. of a dogs skin is lower than that of a human, so human shampoo would dry out their skin and cause more dander (flaking) than normal.

No, it's just not good to shampoo everyday. Shampoo your hair every couple days, not every day, you will strip it of its natural oils. Dandruff shampoo is safe to use when you shampoo, I have dandruff too. But you should only wash your hair daily with an anti dandruff shampoo that is designed for frequent use. Answer: There are many products available in the market for the treatment of dandruff but after using those products dandruff is removed only for a short period of time. We should use a shampoo which can remove dandruff very fast as well as could work on the reason behind dandruff. Main reason behind the dandruff is dry scalp. Chemist Direct provides an anti-dandruff shampoo known as Nizoral shampoo. This shampoo clears dandruff from our hairs in just one wash and then it works on dry, itchy and red scalp to treat it and make it clear and healthy.

You can always try using adult dandruff shampoo, which is available at your local store in the personal care aisle. The adult dandruff shampoo should work just as well as a kid's shampoo, just that it helps fight dandruff in addition to cleaning hair. However, just add a little bit to your daughter's normal shampoo. Though, try Pert Plus for Kids, as many parents are declaring that it works, but do NOT use Selsan Blue shampoo, as it will most likely be too strong, and may cause temporary hair loss for your daughter. Try Pert Plus for Kids, or just add a little (maybe a quarter) adult dandruff shampoo with your daughter's normal shampoo.
