western such as barral racing but that doesn't mean that appaloosas can't do English because im sure they can
Any breed can be used for western pleasure, though stock horses are most common in any western competition. Stock horses are horses that were bred for working cattle and ranching, such as Quarter Horses and their descendants, Paints and Appaloosas. Arabs are also making a statement in he western pleasure ring, though they are ridden slightly differently.
Killing Buffalo's and using them to heard other horses, and for a companionship
Appaloosas have spotted coats, and are stock-breed horses, which are the most popular choice by far for western riding.
no they have always ridden horses or something
For a-circuit show jumping, warmbloods are very talented. Friesland excel at dressage. When it comes to western showing, quarter horses are always a favourite though paints have the exact same bloodlines and temperament. Appaloosas are fabulous at reining.
Though appaloosas are best known for having spots, they don't always. So long as the horse has all three of the following it can still be registered as an appaloosa: mottled skin somewhere on his body (usually the lips), white sclera, striped hooves.
neither. they are born wild. they are trained English or western or both. Some breeds are more suited to western riding (Quarter Horses, Appaloosas) and some are usually English horses (Thoroughbreds, Morgans, Warmbloods), but any horse can be trained to do either.
What's to stop you? I've ridden a riding pony at a western show!
"will be ridden" is passive.
Dressage, showjumping and reining.
the appaloosa is known to be a very old horse breed and its origin is unknown, but it is most wildly populated in the North western united state, like Oregon and Washington. hope this helps
