Buffaloes typically mate while standing. During mating, the male mounts the female, and this position allows for stability and balance. While they may occasionally engage in other behaviors while lying down, mating itself generally occurs in an upright position.
Stand, squat, crouch, or lay down
Sit up because if you lay down you could catch something on fire.
i think they get jiggy with a mate and lay eggs.
depends how they sleep some lay down and some sleep standing up like a guard
no because they have no one to mate with.
I watched a video and if I remember correctly they stand up.
Chickens do not need to mate in order to lay eggs. Hens will lay eggs regardless of whether or not they have mated with a rooster. However, if a hen does mate with a rooster, the eggs can be fertilized and potentially hatch into chicks.

when you get it a mate.

NO. A cow HAS to lay down sometime during the day. All cattle have to lay down to sleep or rest at least 4 to 8 hours every day. They would get extremely exhausted if they were forced to stand for four days straight!
They can mate and then the female can lay the eggs.
