If this is an unspayed female dog it is possible that she is in heat. More likely this is a sign of a urinary tract infection or bladder/kidney stones. You will need to seek veterinary attention.

There are several possibilities, including a kidney or bladder stone, infection in the kidneys or bladder or cancer of the bladder. Age, breed, gender, sexual status (intact or not) and health history can help order these.

Regardless of the cause, this isn't normal and will likely need help from a veterinarian to resolve, so you should take your dog to your veterinarian.

If the dog is a female who has just given birth or is in heat, then some blood in urine is normal, but in any other circumstances, blood in a dog's urine is a very serious condition and the dog should be taken to the vet as quickly as possible. Blood in urine can be caused by stones in the urine bladder, infection in the bladder, kidney problems, cancerous growths or tumours.

If your dog is a gurl she may be in heat, she also may be on her period. If its not a gurl you need to take it to the vet. It may be smart to take it to the vet either way just in case its more serious than what's thought

It's highly possible they have a urinary tract infection so please get your dog to the vet immediately! It's painful and could get very serious if you delay.

This is an abnormal condition, as urine should not have blood in it. Causes can include infection, stones or cancer. The dog should be examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
