Because they are a different organism.
A dog's senses of taste and smell are closely linked and it is possible that dogs gain more information about food from its smell than from its taste. Dogs have a vomeronasal organ in the roof of their mouths which allows them to "taste" certain smells. This organ transmits information directly to the part of the brain known as the limbic system, which controls emotional responses. Most of a dog's taste buds are clustered around the tip of the tongue. Dogs can detect bitter, sweet, salty, and sour tastes, but their sense of taste is relatively poor and they have only one-sixth the number of taste buds that humans have.
yes they do
I didn't know this before but dogs have taste buds in their stomach!
As in most mammals, the dog's taste buds are located on its tongue in the oral cavity.
Chili dogs are delicious, and you can add to them with such things as cheese or slaw. Slaw is my favorite. it counts if about the taste buds .

It really depends on the source of the flavor. Dogs have far fewer taste buds than people -- probably fewer than 2,000. It is the smell that initially attracts them to a particular food. If the hot flavor is an organic pepper oil, then it is not your taste sensors as much as the burning sensation caused by the irritant. This is the same with humans. With a chili pepper you are not tasing hot as much as feeling a chemical burn on your skin. So this type of hot dogs will feel, but to a lesser degree. Spicy hot like pepper or curry are flavors dogs do not taste. They lack the receptors for it. Most dogs should be turned off from hot foods by smell alone. Only if forced will they consume hot sauces, etc. It is NOT a good way to train your animal. A dogs sense of taste is WORSE than a humans, but their sense of SMELL is 100 times better.
Well it depends on your dogs taste buds. My dogs like Happy Hips and Kirkland Lamb and Rice recipe.
Dogs actually do not have the same kinds of tastes buds humans do. That is why we can feed them the exact same thing morning and night without them getting tired of it. There may be a food that agrees with your dogs system better, but that is different than if they like it or not.
I would say beef because of the fact that my dogs perfer beef over any other any other flavor. But in truth not all dogs are the same and they all have different taste buds. But also dogs don't use their sense of taste much at all but instead use their sense of smell to find the most appealing food, and dogs in general probally find beef the most appealing scent.
Pedigree dog food is a very popular dog food company. Is the can and dry food and good could depend on the taste buds of your dog. Not all dogs like the same food just like humans.
