Yes, they have a blow hole, which it uses to breath.

Before they submerge, they take a breath of air, the hole will then close; when they surface, the hole will open again whilst they expel the used air, before taking another breath.

Yes. Unlike what the name suggests, the dolphins 'bum hole' lies far from the dolphins 'bum'. The bodily functions usually performed by the 'bum', are actually performed via the blow hole. As in humans, where the oesophagus closes off when food is being consumed, the blow hole has a dual function in that waste can be excreted in a fountain like format, whilst also providing life sustaining oxygen.
