Technically it's possible, but I wouldn't worry about it. If you have one of the larger parrots, like a Grey Parrot or a Macaw, they're too big to be natural prey for cats. They also can defend themselves quite well with their beaks. If anything, the parrot might bully the cat. I suppose that baby parrots might be more of a fair match, but if you buy a pet store parrot or adopt an older bird you'll be fine.
