I don't believe they do.
You can eat poop like how baby elephants eat their mother's poop because it is very nutritious, but in my opinion, poop is not very tasty.
Their diet consists of usually leaves and poop.

Elephants do not eat giraffes because elephants do not eat meat. Elephants are herbivores.

Not necessarily 'natural' but it does occur. The elephants digestive system is pretty poor at extracting nutrients from the grasses they eat. A lot of undigested grass passes throu the gut to be expelled as dung. Elephants (and other animals) are known to eat their own dung to re-digest unprocessed food.
Yes elephants do eat plants
Elephants are herbivorous; they eat vegetation.
Elephants don't digest all the nutrients in the food they eat, so if they eat elephant poop they can get another round of free food. I'm guessing that they don't transmit anywhere near as many diseases as we humans do.
