Given the usual conditions : intact female, fertile age, in heat, gets to mate with an intact male - sure.
My mini daschund would bleed when she was in heat. If you're not planning on letting her reproduce, spay her and it may stop.
Twice a year.
I breed chihuahuas for a living. It can happen at anytime but usually after they are a year old
Twice a year.
Chihuahuas are dogs. Not babies. Dogs should be loved of course but don't give them shoes. It looks silly. But if their feet start to blister from heat then yes, but only for that purpous.
Chihuahuas reproduce through sexual mating between a male and female. The female Chihuahua will go into heat approximately every six months, during which she is receptive to mating. When a male and female Chihuahua mate, the female may become pregnant and give birth to a litter of puppies after a gestation period of about 60-63 days.
Many go into heat aroung 8-12 months.
In her second heat 9 to 13 days after she first starts bleeding.
By the 2nd or 3rd heat which is about one and half or two yrs old.
There is no reason to give a female dog medications for a first heat. Having a heat cycle is a normal thing for a female dog. If you are not going to breed her, then have her spayed as soon as she is out of heat. She will live a longer and healthier life. Cut down her risks of mammary tumors, uterine infections, perianal tumors, etc.
Yes but it has a better chance halfway through heat
