Gerbils bites doesnt go by age at all, i was cleaning my gerbil out the other day, as i was getting him out he was latched on my finger and it hurt like mad & it was pouring with blood so Gerbils bites DO hurt ALOT but they can nibble you, but that doesnt really hurt at all
