Don't use wheels! It will damage your guinea pigs spine and this can lead to death. Instead, when it is warm outside, put your guinea pig on the ground and put it in something like an outdoor rabbit pen. Make sure that the ground isn't covered by something so that you don't have to clean the poop off of it. They will love this because they also can eat the grass. An upside down cage (without top) or an upside-down laundry basket work well too.
No, they do not use them.
No guinea pigs cannot there wouldn't be enough space and guinea pigs aren't supposed to use exercise wheels that are usely in hampster cages (because they can easily hurt themselves).
We have has guinea pigs for years and we give them salt wheels, all animals need some salt and they only eat vegetable and pellets which aren't high in salt content. So yes, guinea pigs can have salt wheels.
salt wheels give guinea pigs some of the minerals they need but cant get yeah it is suitable for them but most of the time they don't eat it and when you clean out their cage you could axidently through it away with the other poo
Guineas cannot use wheels or balls because they are dangerous for their backs.
YES!Ofcourse they do that's why they have wheels to run in another person: no, they run in the wheels to act cute
only if guinea pigs are considered ''critters''
shampoo
Be together, eat each others food, use exercise wheels or balls, be left outside alone (if it's dark but also in the day for guinea pigs), be put in a pet shop cage, eat alfafa hay if they are not mature or pregnant etc
Guinea pigs are fine with towels, it doesn't hurt or annoy them in any way. Guinea pigs love soft materials so you should use them especially when cuddling them!
You can buy them one of those wheels that you put in the cage or a ball you put the guinea pig in and it runs around in the house. Ok first of all please do NOT buy a ball. Guinea pigs do not have the spine that a hamster has a ball could injure your guinea pig. Guineas need an hour of exercise daily set up a room for your pigs to run around in or teach them to go up and down the step.
No!!!!!!!They are actually part of the rodent family.
