Yes. Preferably unsalted. In Winter I give them Black sunflower seeds. More oil = more heat to keep them warm. Feed them well doring the Winter and you will see larger litters and healthier little ones in spring. Try to stay away from sugar, chocolate and cinnamon. Sgar free vanilla wafers are good treats.
HAMSTERS NEED SALT! it is a good idea to give them sticks of salt or put it in their food!
Hamsters can eat both raw and roasted sunflower seeds, as long as they are unsalted and shelled. Sunflower seeds are high in fat and should be offered in moderation as a treat rather than a staple diet.
I am not sure if hamsters can eat from the plant but they certainly do seem to love sunflower seeds so maybe they would! I would not chance it though because you can get lots of sunflower seeds for very little money in most big supermarkets! Ie..... Hope this helped!

Rodents can eat cheese in moderation, but would likely prefer something like sunflower seeds to snack on.
yes, they can eat sunflower seeds.
They really like sunflower seeds and watermelon.
Sunflower seeds are very fattening and can make your pet obese. I would try one or two every other day. Pregnant hamsters can eat a little more then that because they have to give nutrients to the babies.
They eat sunflower seeds, raisins, regular hamster food, fresh veggies, etc. Avoid citrus, chocolate, etc.
