yes they do. sphinx may look hairless, but they do have a soft short fuzzy bit of fur. they do not shed much, but stil, all "hypoallergenic" cats and dogs shed
, but some may only shed about a hair a day. don't listen to all the peeps who say that no hypoallergenic pets shed, they do. you should put sunscreen on ones with not much hair. i hope this helps! ;)
There are cats with no hair called the Sphinx Cat, they shed the least. All cats do shed but those with longer hair 'seem' to shed more because of the longer hairs floating about and on everything. Brushing often does help.
Yes, all cats shed to some extent. Sphinx and Cornish Rex, which have very short fur, don't appear to shed, but even they shed a certain amount as the individual hair-producing follicles go dormant.

Sphinx cat (bald cats) are the only animals I could think of that wouldn't shed ANY hair at all.
