Well I'm no scienist but i think you should just in case
A Yorkshire terrier does not need much. They require food, water, and toys just like any other animal. They also need love and attention.
Unfortunately, everywhere in the UK requires a special license for you to own a Pit Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. Without a license, your Dog may be taken off you and euthanised due to the law. If you get a license, your Dog will need to be kept on the lead and muzzled in public and sterillized. Otherwise it is illegal to own this poor, stereotyped breed in the UK.
There is no way to tell- if you need to know for showing get an adult, if you get a puppy, please love it no matter what color it is! Sometimes the breeder can guess the color based on the parents color!
Definitely they need there hair cut unless u want it for a show dog but the good side about its fur is that it sheds very little.
Around 2-3 years. At least when the dog starts trying to hump everything in its path
A good catch phrase for puppy mills would be "You need em', we will breed em'". A second one would be, "We don't need a stinking license".
The Yorkshire Terrier sheds little hair. Its long and silky coat needs to be brushed 4-5 times a week with a firm bristle brush to avoid any tangles and matt. The coat should also be trimmed regularly to prevent matting of the hair. Its eyes and ears need to be cleaned regularly to avoid any infection.

If you are thinking of adding a new member to your home, a Yorkshire Terrier may be a good choice. However, you should not be tempted only by the sweet appearance of a Yorkshire Terrier, as you may find it hard to manage if you are not familiar with the needs and temperament of a Yorkshire Terrier. First, you can probably tell by the size of a Yorkie that it is no work dog. This lap dog is perfect for apartment living as it does not require much outdoor exercise. However, keeping a Yorkshire Terrier still requires a lot of time and efforts due to its temperament. A typical Yorkie is not only energetic, but also intelligent and loyal. However, a Yorkie tends to be overly dominant and aggressive towards strangers and other animals if you do not know how to train a lap dog. Most people spoil small dogs like Yorkies, and as a result, these cute creatures soon turn into manipulative members of the household. Therefore, if you are not confident in maintaining discipline, a Yorkshire Terrier may not be perfect for you. In addition, as a small dog, Yorkshire Terriers have a tendency to bark excessively. As such, they require extensive training to desensitize them from foreign noises and strangers. You should expect to spend quite a bit of time training your dog to become calm. Another factor you need to take into consideration is grooming. Since a Yorkshire Terrier has a long silky coat, it requires a lot of time to upkeep it. You will need to brush your Yorkie at least once a week and trim the coat regularly. If you are unable to do that, make sure you can afford to take your Yorkie to a professional groomer. Although a Yorkshire Terrier is tiny, you should take time to take it out for a daily walk. If the Yorkie begins running inside the apartment at bullet speed, it means that you will need to lengthen the walk or take it out more than once a day.
More than once or twice a day. They need breakfast,Lunch and Tea like us. They may be small dogs, but trust me,I know this from experience, they don't hold back on the energy! We usually feed our Yorkshire Terrier puppy Mince or Chicken for breakfast,Yorkshire terrier dog biscuits for lunch and Either Sausages,Chicken or Mince for dinner. They also need to be groomed every 2 daysish.. And Bathed, though they clean themselves often. Hope this helps x
This may be because he or she has eaten something it shouldn't have. My Yorkshire Terrier went through the same thing. Yo need to take it to the vet ASAP! The longer you wait, the worse. My dog almost DIED because my family waited too late. PLEASE HELP YOUR DOG NOW!!!
assuming that the APBT means "abandoned puppy bull terrier", you will need a dogbed, doggy feeding bowls (one for water, one for food), flea powder, and lots of patience!
