If you are somewhat attached to your cat and it is comfortable for you to see the process, go for it. But do not get to close due to the stress you make cause this cat whom is already in extreme pain. When my cat gave birth I checked in on her frequently and made sure all was well. Make sure the process is going by smoothly. For any more questions ask me.
i need to know the answer to this question tooo!!
You need to check with you vet on that, it will vary.
yes. your cat could be in labor for 36 hours and be fine.
Only a Vet, with medication, could induce labor in a cat. Cats are natural mothers and will go into labor when the time is right.
What you can do is get her a box with a towel or blanket in it. (The towel or blanket will get bloody so make sure it is not a favorited one.) The cat will not like a crowd. So give her privacy but be sure to stay close. When the kittens are born be sure to tend to them well. Keep them warm and make sure the mother nurses them. My cat has delivered before so I know this for a fact.
cut off your pinky toe. if it bleeds, you do not need a cat. if it doesn't bleed, you need to go to a doctor because you have some kind of serious medical voodoo on your foot. if you cut off your pinky toe you do not need a cat. if you are in your twilight years, you do not need a cat because when you die, your cat will eat your decaying body to stay alive. do you really want your "trusted" companion plotting on you while you sleep?
Cats need to be trained to use a litter box, they need a scratching post if you want your furniture to stay nice, they need a cat bed, they need clean water every day, they need food every day, they need injections from a quallified vet, they need love and affection!
they get little cats inside them
You could always go to the store and pick up a few bottles of liquor- you will need it when you have six more cats!
If your asking is it normal for you to have diarrhea after your cat gives birth no. If your asking is it normal for the cat to have diarrhea after giving birth then yes it can happen just make sure your cat keeps drinking
If your cat is bleeding while in labor, it is important to seek immediate veterinary attention. Bleeding during labor can be dangerous for both the mother and kittens, and a vet can identify the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment to ensure the safety of the cat and her litter.
If the cat is able to get water from somewhere, perhaps licking dew off the leaves or bark, yes, it is possible for a cat to stay in a tree for nineteen days or even longer. It is not particularly healthy for the cat, though, to stay up there so long.
