This depends on what the horse is refusing to do exactly. Gridwork and bounces will force the horse to keep going, typically, but it can also backfire and make the horse even more sour.
That matter that horse you have. But I suggest not to try that idea on a horse it could get you into some trouble.
Different disciplines suggest different types, how much you need to control your horse, and how your horse will be used.

Yes, someone can look up a horse for you. I would suggest asking a close friend for help.
Skill a horse until you have 358+ skills from what you started out with on the horse. I suggest skilling a horse with a high GP to get the objective done faster.
it really depends on the type of horse, so if you really want to know, i suggest you learn the breed of the horse and look the breed up. most regular sized horses get to be around 14.2 hands. Hands is what a horse is mesured with, i suggest you look that up too.
I would suggest an ice pack and lots of rest!
war horse
its called idiot disease and they get from idiots like you
When a horse eats a poisonous plant, it may get colic, or a stomachache. The horse may be refusing to eat or drink, be rolling around on the floor (horses roll around anyway, but you would be able to tell if it was sick), and it should appear listless.
I am a horse-rider myself but I personally would suggest that you ask your local riding school
