Yes. In fact, American Eskimo Dogs tend to shed a lot of fur, so if that's not something you're prepared for, this is not the dog for you.
American Eskimos shed a lot and are very loud and energetic during their early years. However, they are very affectionate, loyal and gentle dogs-- great pets for families or generally anyone who has some time to devote to a dog.
Yes they do
Bichon Frise, Portuguese Water Dog, Schnauzers do not shed a lot.
depends on how much fur your dog has if your dog has a lot of fur it should shed a lot if your dog is well groomed it should shed but not as often
Over all, any dog with long, shaggy hair usually sheds a lot.
they dont shed a lot,but they do shed their long fur around the house. dog sat onw yesterday
black lab
Any short hair dog will be a good choice because any thing with only little hair will not shed(mammels dont molt they shed)alot>
They don't necessarily need a big backyard as long as they are getting plenty of exercise with a small one or with walks. They are an energetic dog and require (not request) a lot of attention.
Not at all! Try a poodle If you are allergic to dog hair and pet dander you should not a lab. they shed A LOT!!!
Most all dogs shed. A lot of breeders are claiming that the Labradoodle does not shed. That is a lot of BS and not true. All dogs shed, they have to as the coat gets thicker in the winter time and thinner in the summer time. The fur has to be replaced too. The only dog I can think of that would not shed is the Chinese Crested as it has no hair :0). Just brush your dog daily outside and keep his or her coat clean.
I like the name Lucie! If I were you I would nickname the dog, too. It all just depends on what your dog looks like. Black, White, or both: I like Oreo. Brown, Grey, or other: I like the name Cookie-a lot! It's all your decision...
