Guinea pigs are usually able to groom themselves, but it's best if you give them a hand sometimes. You can get a special brush from the pet store for them. If your guinea pig breed has long hair (peruvian, silkie, abbysinian) then you should groom them quite often, as their hair drags on the ground and can get very dirty. If you have med-short haired (american, short haired) then you won't have to groom them a lot as they should be able to take care of themselves. You can give them baths once every month or so, but for the long haired i recommend once or twice every month. In winter i wouldn't give them a bath as it can be very cold, but maybe once if you have to, but spring and summer are the best seasons to clean your guinea pig.
You don't need a guinea pig.
Yes. With a brush. You can buy them at a pet store for about $7. That's the way I groom mine.
The most common breed of guinea pig is American short haired. They are easy to groom and handle.
I need to feed my guinea pig.
You need to talk to a veterinarian to have your guinea pig spayed.
Yes and fast

Money.
it is not just the female guinea pig. all guinea pigs need exersise but never ever get a running wheel for the guinea pig their backs are so sensitive.
It all depends on if you like brushing your guinea pig a lot. You see, long hair guinea pigs are harder to groom and their hair gets full of dust and bedding and gets kind of nasty. But, short hair guinea pigs have more trouble keeping themselves warm. So it depends on if you are a brusher or a cuddler. If you are both, then I suggest getting a long hair and a short hair to share a cage together.
Not necessarily, though it is highly recommended to keep at least two guinea pigs. If you can handle and play with your guinea pig at least one hour a day, though your guinea should be fine.
