no they just reelect a leader
Wolves determine who will be the Alpha and the Omega by fighting to the death. The wolves communicate by using body motions to pick the strongest wolves that may sometimes result in fights. After the wolves "discuss" who the strongest wolves are the battles begins. As I said it is the fight to the death which will end as a bloody and very brutal war. The "winner" becomes the Alpha. Now you probably wonder what the Omega is. There is more than one Omega in the pack. An Omega is considered the "low life" of the pack. The Alpha is considered the leader of the pack and the Omega wolves are just "followers" in a hope to survive. The Alpha won't stop being Alpha until he/she dies. When the Alpha dies the cycle restarts.
Not usually. The only couple in a wolf pack are the alpha female and the alpha male. but on rare occasions there can be more than one. but usually alphas are only ones who can mate
Alpha: The Leader of the Pack. Omega: The lowest member of the Pack.
The alpha's are leaders in the pack and the only pair that mate unless they give permission to over members in the pack. Always remember that there are always two alpha's, the male and the female.
Alpha or Alpha male
The wife to the alpha
The Alpha wolf is one of the 2 head wolves. The Alpha female and the Alpha male. Both run the pack and most of the time are the only wolves in the pack aloud to breed.
An alpha is a dog/wolf that is a leader or hunter of a pack. Like in the movie "Alpha and Omega, omegas are wolfs that are not pack born. Alphas and Omegas can be male or female.
The pack doesn't receive a new alpha. In September 2006 Jake splits off from the rest of the pack followed by Seth then Leah. This creates two packs. He does this because he doesn't agree with the choice that Sam, the alpha, makes. Sam truly believes that the right thing to do is to kill Bella because this will also kill the baby vampire inside of Bella. He believes this will prevent the reservation and forks from being at risk by a newborn vampire. Jake doesn't agree and refuses to kill Bella, fortunately Jake could over rule Sam and split off to start a separate pack because he is the rightful alpha of the Quileute pack. This ends up with the two separate packs. Hope this answers your question :)
Yes,there is a alpha male and female like a queen and king
It's likely that they do. They are social animals and would probably feel some sort or form of grief when one of their own, be it a leader or someone lower on the pecking order, dies.
The alpha, or leader, of a wolf pack is usually the oldest, but there are circumstances where a young male wolf challenged and defeated an older alpha wolf.
