My dog had a similar problem. Take your dog to the vet for their exam. I waited too long and my dog got permanent damage. It was simply an inner ear infection. If caught early enough they can treat it without and lasting problems. It messes with their balance. My dog revovered but her head always leaned off to one side afterwards. Hopefully that's all there is. Good luck.
