The fallopian tubes, also called the uterine tubes, extend supralaterally from the uterus.
uterus and uterine tubes
That is the tube in which the egg moves to the uterus from the ovaries.
The fallopian tubes.
In a rat, the uterus is shaped like two horns, extending up into the abdominal cavity. this way the rat can support multiple fetuses.
The ovum travels through the fallopian tube to reach the uterus. Once fertilized, the ovum will implant in the lining of the uterus to continue developing into a fetus.
The male structures formed from the mesonephric duct are:* ductus epididymis * ductus deferens * ureter * pelvis, calyces, collecting tubules (in the kidneys) * ejaculatory duct * seminal vesicle
The fertilized egg is typically found in the uterine tube or the Fallopian tube. It is the duct that extends superolaterally from the uterus.
cystic duct and the hepatic duct
Same place as before. A hysterectomy is the removal of the uterus (the womb) which is quite a ways inside the body. The urethra (urine duct) is located just at the opening of the vagina and won't be affected.
Müllerian duct anomalies can occur due to abnormal development of the Müllerian ducts during fetal development. This can result in structural abnormalities of the female reproductive organs, such as the uterus and fallopian tubes. Genetic factors or exposure to certain medications or toxins during pregnancy may contribute to the development of Müllerian duct anomalies.
common bile duct
I have a Wolffian duct cyst and that's one of my more minor anomalies. I was born with a double uterus (uterus didelphys, one of the Mullerian anomalies), including two cervices and a septate vagina. In addition, I have three (or sort of two and a half) kidneys, with three separate ureters. In my understanding, these types of anomalies are often related and co-occurring. I have others, too -- a long list of this and that.I don't have two uteruses now, or even one, as I had uterine cancer, and hysterectomy is a given for that.
