I'm guessing you have a male dog because my full grown female is about 75 pounds. As long as your puppy does not look like a stuffed sausage at this point, that weight is OK. It is time to start cutting back on a dogs food when you have to push to feel the dogs ribs. If you can feel them without pushing your dog's weight is fine.
