Pandas are born 900 times smaller than the size of their mothers. New born pandas are about the size of a small rat or mouse. Although they are small at first they triple in size in about a week. Since they are so small, they have to crawl up the mothers stomach to feed because the mother can not reach the baby pandas. What a workout!

At birth the panda is smaller then a mouse and mice range in size from 11 to 21 cm (4 to 8 inches) so i think it is pretty small

Ans#2:At birth, the Giant Panda typically weighs 100 to 200 grams (3.5 to 7.1 oz) and measures 15 to 17 centimeters (5.9 to 6.7 in) long
They are born at about 6 to 8 inches long and weigh less than a couple of pounds.
They weigh from 3 to 4 1/2 ounces and are about the size of a chipmunk.
