I think you mean a fishing cat. They are about the size of normal house cats. You would get a better description in a book about big cats or a book about fishing cats.

A Fisher Cat is an animal that is more like a weasel than a cat. They eat small game, and are known for their loud squeal. They are native to North America, mainly found in the boreal forest and the northern states.
Might help to know where you are, geographically. Here are some of my guesses: * Small bear * large raccoon * opossum * fisher
the main predator of a fisher cat is another fisher cat
technically a cat is not a farm animal because it is the domesticated version of the big cats EX: lion, tiger
I would get a big dog -- one that likes to hunt and chase. Maybe you could borrow one. I would avoid having the dog backing the fisher cat into a corner, but if you keep the dog on a leash or rope long enough to intimadate the fisher cat, I bet it will soon decide to move on.
Panther
The saber tooth cat.
how big is the animal??
The scientific name for a fishing cat is Prionailurus viverrinus.
The animal is the "panther" (big cat, often black).
A big cat is a large feline animal, especially one of the Panthera genus, including tigers, lions, jaguars and leopards.
