The diameter of a camel leg is smaller, in comparison to a camel body, than the human leg is in comparison to a human body, however, the camel has four legs as compared to the human's two legs. All else being equal, four legs supports twice as much weight as two legs. Also, the bone structure is quite solid in camel legs; they have less surrounding muscle tissue than a human leg does. So, looks can be deceiving.
