Although there are some physical characteristics you can look for that might suggest a rabbit's sex, the only way to know for sure if a rabbit is male or female is by examining the genitalia. Rabbits are like humans: there are some common differences between the sexes, but they don't guarantee anything (for example, a woman can be very tall, even though on average women are shorter than men -- so you can't know a person's gender from their height).
