If you breed a Jack with a pitbull you are going to end up with a pitbull with a high prey drive which can be a dangerous animal in the wrong hands or even in the hands of someone who doesn't understand how to handle dogs with a high prey drive. Ususally, you cannot look at these dogs and tell they are part Jack, especially in the case of Jack/American Pitbull Terrier mixes. My dog is Jack/APBT and he looks just like a red-nosed pitbull, but a bit small as he weighs in at 56 pounds, but he has some very definite Jack traits; he is very quick and agile, he barks a lot and he does love a hunt.
