Our dog got at a skunk that had wandered into the house at night. The dog apparently bit off the skunk's tail. We found the tail, then we found the little skunk hiding with a red nub where the tail had been. There was very little loss of blood. We let the poor thing go Into the Woods. I hope it survived.
