How did gorillas turn into humans?

They didn't.. I am almost positive that is just some cynical atheist's excuse that God did not create mankind .

Or they evolved through certain stages, changing with their environment over long periods of time. These two theories have always gone back and forth, and probably will for a long time.

The above is utter nonsense. We and gorillas have a common ancestor and one did not evolve into the other. There are NOT two theories and religious ideologues are trying to mislead you with this nonsense. Please look up the taxonomic tree of primates and you will see evolutionary processes are not linear, one organism does not change into another, but bush like, where organisms split into different species.

A monkey is a primate and is related to the human, but they did not "turn into humans." Humans are a different species.
