The Augi is a pretty amazing animal. It is a cross between an Australian Shepard and a welsh corgi. It can also be a cross between a miniature Australian Shepard and a welsh corgi. It is a beautiful dog.

Augis are a very hardy breed of dog and usually have a long life span. They are very healthy animals when given proper care. Since both the Australian Shepard and the welsh corgi come from a long line of working farm dogs they augis are excellent workers. They would make the perfect animal for any farmer. Even if you do not have a farm they are still an excellent pet. The make wonderful family pets and are very social. They make wonderful baby sitters for children when they are playing outside if trained to do so. They will keep small children from leaving a safe play area. This may sound a little strange but it is a good way to keep your children safer. They will not hurt the children.

The Augi needs a lot of stimulation in their lives and they need a lot of physical exercise. They need mental stimulation as well to stay healthy and happy. It is important to properly train an augi when they are young.

Both the American Canine Hybrid Club and the Designer Dogs Kennel Club recognize the augi as one of the new breeds of mixed dogs. Designer dogs are not considered mutts as they are specifically bred from the dogs chosen by a breeder. Mutts are dogs that don't usually have a known pedigree.

Augis in general have few health issues. They can however have some vision problems that have come through the welsh corgi side. It is important to keep an eye on this so problems won't occur. Urinary Tract Infections can also be a problem and should be monitored. Make sure to treat any UTIs quickly to insure the future health of your pet.

The Augi is an amazing animal that is loyal to a fault. They are happiest when they have a job to do but are very independent and can survive well when left to their own devices. They love big back yards full of interesting things to do. They are easily housebroken in most cases. They travel well and adjust to new places quickly. They are fairly large dogs and hardy enough to withstand a lot of "love" from children. They are protective but not violent unless strongly provoked. All in all an augi is an great pet.
