How do cats get their food?

When its a wild cat or a pet cat that has access to outside, they will often hunt small animals such as birds, mice and other small rodents, frogs and insects. They might even scavenge food from bins, parks and even enter other homes if cat food is in easy reach.

For most pet cats, however, food is usually bought for them by their owners.

It depends, in the wild they hunt birds and rats and mice, ect... As a pet they get fed by their owners. Sometimes though they still hunt birds and mice. One time my cat brought one into the house!
