the cubs are taken care of by their mothers (tigers are solitary animals, not social, like lions are).

the first weeks mom will hunt for food while her cubs stay in the den. as they get older, she will take them along with them (but they wont participate in the stalking, they just watch) they play alot to practice hunting.after a while the cubs will actively participate in the hunt itself. after about 18 months they will leave thier mother (although females usually stay longer) they stay in the area till they are about 2.5 years old and they reach sexual maturity)
