A female guinea pig gets a cycle every 17-25 days, for one day. On that day if she is with conntact with a male guinea pig it is almost certain she will get pregnate. So be aware that if you house oppiset genders together THEY WILL HAVE BABIES, which can be amazing but also hard to sell. When having what some may call sex the female guinea pig will have its bottum tilted slightly upwared. I the male is "sniffing" her bottum, EXPECT BABIES.
