I put down puppy pads or newspaper for my little girl and put a boot tray under it. They are smart little guys so they should catch on quick. If you pick them up once they pee...point at the spot and say "NO"...then put them down on the correct spot...then gently hold them for a few seconds. This worked for me...but it took 5 or 6 different times for her to catch on to what I meant...now she runs to the newspaper on the tray and sniffs then goes pee...every time...it took a total of 2 weeks for her to finally get it...but she is 6 months old now and we very seldom have any issues about the pee...
