Yes, they do. The easiest way to describe the noises that snow leopards make is to think of them as sounding like very large, deeper voiced house cats. There are recordings of them calling to one another with a "Ow" sound that is not unlike the "Meow" sound small cats make; just on a larger scale. They also purr and they "chuff" too, but they don't "roar" the way we know that lions do.

The "chuffing" sound they make is one the many big cats make when greeting another big cat they know. Since it's used to show affection, they will also make this sound to humans who work closely with them. The chuff sound is made when they blow air out through their nose and closed mouth in a breathy purr-like huff. You can come close to making that sound yourself by trying to make short purring sounds while breathing out quickly through your mouth.
