Well one way is to make sure the newborn is warm. If it freezes it will die. You can also heat up some milk (make sure it's not too hot because newborn mice are very sensitive) and then get a little dropper so the mouse can suck the milk out of it. Make sure to feed it at least every two hours. Most of the time it may be sleeping so you wan't have to feed it then. And remember they are very sensitive. They cannot see yet and their bones are very fragile. So be careful!
You don't touch them and just let the mother mouse handle it.

Newborn mice are called pups. They may also be called "pinkies" because their skin is a reddish pink color when they are first born.
A neonatologist is a specialist in the care of the newborn.
Feeding a newborn baby mouse with non-two percent milk is not advisable, as their digestive systems are not equipped to handle cow's milk or any other human milk alternatives. Newborn mice require specific nutritional formulas designed for their species, often available from pet stores or specialized breeders. Using inappropriate milk can lead to health issues or even death in young mice. It's best to consult with a veterinarian for proper care and feeding methods for orphaned or newborn mice.
