As much as possible grab the runt and put it on a nipple and make sure it eats until its full and another pup doesn't push it off to the side. If you can do this at least 5 times a day, by the time its around 3 weeks old it should be strong enough to hold its own. if it doesn't eat or looks sick call a vet
If you take good care of your runt puppy, it will definitely survive.

The smallest puppy in a litter is called the runt of the litter.
Absolutely not. Breeders see the runt puppy as a chance for more money. Because most people see the runt as a smaller cuter dog. in every litter say there were about 12 in the litter, there is the runt about about 10 normal ones, and one abnormal one that would be a little bigger then the rest, this is normally found in little dog breeds. when i got my rat terrier puppy we saw the runt and i just had to have him.
Give the runt extra care and attention to insure it's survival until it's time to be slaughtered.
Why would they be? Its just odds. The runt could be the first one out.
A lot of animal mothers do that. I am not exactly sure why, but if you want the runt to live you should take it to a vet and see how you can take care of it
How you take care of a regular puppy
Runt please would be a good answer
we can take care puppies by taking care of them . Keep the puppy warm, if it is a really young puppy you should try feeding it puppy milk through a bottle. House the puppy in a dog bed, away from draughts and keep fresh food and water nearby.
