Get the old bath tub ready with tepid water (body temp water just like you would for a human baby.) Then use Dawn Dish Soap and rub it into your dogs fur well. Rinse. You may have to do this 2 - 3 times until you are sure the oil is out. After that be sure you have OATMEAL SHAMPOO and rub into the dog (especially into the skin to bring back those oils) then rinse well. I had to do my cat with Dawn soap and it worked very well, but also used the oatmeal shampoo as the dish soap is harsh.
