You CAN put acrylic paint on your dog, but it's not a good idea. The dog will almost certainly lick the paint before it's dry, ingesting the paint and possibly getting sick. Once the paint dries you'll have a hard time getting the paint off again in a manner that is safe for the dog.
I don't know but I do know that if your house is a old house and the paint is old your dog might get sick but even if its one day old paint or fresh paint it will most likely still get sick. If your dog is or does get sick you might want to take your dog to the vet
If you AND your dog are very calm you could try shaving or cutting the paint off. Don't try it if your dog is fidgetty or if you are hesitant, as your dog will sense any unease on your part.
To remove paint from a dog, use a damp cloth to gently wipe away any wet paint. For dried paint, consult a veterinarian for safe removal options, as using harsh chemicals or scraping can harm the dog's skin. It's important to act quickly to prevent the paint from causing skin irritation or ingestion if the dog licks it.
Wash it until it fits your dog, then make it grow somehow...

Does paint come off glass?
I would not recommend painting dog dishes. If any of the paint chips or peels then the dog could ingest the paint. It may not kill them but I'm sure it is not good for them.
