How do you get rid of a groundhog without shooting it?

If you don't want to kill them just call your local animal control they will most likely come pick them up. But if don't mind killing them you can throw large amount of bubble gum in their burrows when they eat it it will clog up their digestive system therefore killing them.

You can live-trap them using any number of available humane live trapping devices.( these are one-way traps designed to capture animals without hurting them at all and are activated when the animal enters it and steps on a pressure sensitive plat closing the trap door behind it). For bait they really like apple wedges and some even like Oranges. Once you have the woodchuck/ groundhog inside the trap you can then take somewhere remote and release it. Then go back and get the rest of the family.

well you cant really get rid of ground hogs with killing them why cant you kill them your girlfriend likes them or something just kill your girlfriend or kill yourself then you wont have to worry about them anymore
