My best answer would be when you go to bed, your cat goes too. Well, that's what I do, and it works pretty good. Set her (or him) in the little mini-bed or wherever he or she is sleeping every night. Try to get the cat used to it and then they will be more than willing to go there to sleep. I would also suggest putting a blanket in with them to help increase comfort which helps them get used to it.

Why won't my cat sleep in its bed?

Most cats won't sleep in their comfy beds because they are not covered. My cat will only sleep behind the toilet. As long as your cat is hidden than it will love its new bed! Also make sure that the room your cat sleeps in is cool. It should be about 75 degrees. Your cat will be very uncomfortable if they are kept in a boiling hot room or home.

Where might you fix a bed for your cat?

In all honesty, you could set up a bed for your cat wherever you want to. If there is a particular place your cat seems to like to sleep, you could put a bed for him/her in that area. You could also place a bed where you want your cat to sleep, such as a living room. On the other hand, if there is a place your cat tends to sleep that you don't want him to be, you could put a bed somewhere else to encourage him to sleep there instead. For example, if your cat likes to sleep on the kitchen table, you could put a bed somewhere on the floor in the kitchen. That way, the cat would still be in the area it seems to prefer without being in an inappropriate location.
