How do you give your dog a 7 in 1 shot?

You go buy the vial or vials then you extract the liquid from one vial into the other and shake the vial till its all mixed. Then from there securly get the dog between your knees or another comfortable spot and pinch the skin between their shoulder blades right behind the next and should be stretchy! Prep the needle and stick in but the skin has to be raised up or else they will feel it and you might hit their bone or muscle :( I have been giving shots to our dogs for many years and it's alot cheaper than a vet bill.

You can purchase vaccines from a local Feed Store, a large Pet Store, Grange Co-Op or through an online Pet Supply Company such as Omaha Vaccine Co. Made sure though to check the expiration dates on the vaccine bottles & not get out dated vaccines. Also if you order through the mail, make sure to use the 2 day service and that they arrive with the ice packs still somewhat frozen in the shipping box, if not, return the vaccines. Do you have a proper vaccination schedule mapped out? If not, here is my suggestion. Vaccinate at 8 weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-15 weeks & a final one at 16 weeks (don't forget yearly boosters after that). Don't forget to take your pet to your Veterinarian for a good check up & test for parasites by bringing in a sample of your pup's feces. You also need to get your Pup on a once a month Heartworm preventative which you can ask your Vet about when you take your pup in for a checkup. That is very important to do as heartworms are found everywhere and carried by the mosquito who infects the dog by biting them. Oh don't forget about the Rabies vaccination which only a licensed Veterinarian can give. You can get the cheaper Rabies vaccination by checking out the larger pet stores to see if they have once a month Rabies clinics or check with your local Animal Shelter too.
