The easiest way is to get a connecting train from oxenholme to windermere station (the main bus stop is right out side the station). Then, either get a bus down there or walk down. If you're going to walk, keep in mind it's quite a walk (any time between 30 minutes if you're really quick to 1 hour) and it's verylikely to be raining :D

If you want to get the bus, I'm pretty certain that the 599 goes from windermere station to bowness pier, but you can always look at the timetable when you get there.
