Give your eskie a piece of ice now and then to eat, they LOVE ice. when it snows let it play outside for a little while -- IT IS NOT 'COLD PROOF' it can get pneumonia and frost bite just like you. NEVER shave your dog. Understand the dog WILL bark at strangers and strange animals it's a breed trait. Your dog should sleep inside NOT outside and ideally near it's 'alpha' if that's you, your bedroom, if it's your child then your child's room.
