Well first you need to shut the cat in a spacious room with a litter box which is changed everyday and fresh, clean water and it's regular amount of food. Slowly open the door a crack and let them sniff each other and interact. If you think it's getting too rough close the door again. Keep doing this until they get used to each other. After they don't fight let out the cat and see how it goes. If the cat is still scared comfort it and redo step one. keep doing this until they are fine together. It's a lot of work but if you want what's best for you and your pets then I would recommend trying it.
To help your cat like your dog, start by giving them separate spaces to feel safe. Gradually introduce them through scent swapping and supervised interactions. Reward positive behavior with treats and praise. Be patient and give them time to adjust to each other's presence.
