A lab's eyes should be brown, with the exception thatchocolatesare allowed to have green andhazelcolors. Look at your dogs eyes, if it looks abnormally light and green, it's green. If it looks brown with green tints, or green with brown tints, it's hazle. If the eyes look brown or almost golden, they're brown.
A golden Labrador is just a Labrador with a golden or yellow fur color. It can also mean that that dog is a cross breed between a golden retriever and a Labrador. A Labrador retriever is a lab that retrieves an object such as the game that a hunter shot or a stick or toy that you threw.
James Cowie has written: 'Know your labrador retriever' -- subject(s): Labrador dogs
Yes there is such a thing as big and small Labrador Retrievers. Want to know why? Because there are a lot of folks who do not know what a 'Breed Standard' is. There are also folks who would breed their Labrador Retriever to another Labrador Retriever when they also do not know what a breed standard is, nor do they realize that they may be bringing into this world a smaller, skinner type of Lab or a larger, bigger type of Lab.
I dont know!! I never had a dog in my life, but I think it's either a Labrador or Golden Retriever.

The Labrador Retriever breed was developed in Newfoundland, Canada, in the 19th century. The breed was created by crossing St. John's water dogs with various other breeds such as the Newfoundland dog and possibly the Irish Setter. These original dogs were skilled at retrieving game for hunters and fishermen, eventually leading to the development of the modern Labrador Retriever breed known for its intelligence, loyalty, and friendly demeanor.
