Well if you go to get one or some one gives you one that should be a very good indicator that you are actually getting a dog.
If it is a dog that you don't know very well then it would not be recommended to do that. A dog that does no know you can take a person getting down to their eye level as a sign of aggression.
i dont know people
Its the dogs way of sensing (or getting to know) the other mammal (dog) around it. Its a natural ability. But if this "getting to know each other" frenzy isn't just a stroll in the park (normal) it could be a fight, a dog fight. !CAUTION! FOR YOUR SAFETY, DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN THE COMMOTION! :)
you spank it with a news paper to let it know ,that it can't do that.
There are a lot things you should try to know when it comes to getting a dog. The main thing you should know is if the dog likes kids, or has aggression problems. The next thing is to get a dog that fits your lifestyle. If you have a busy lifestyle, please DO NOT GET A DOG! The next thing is to try to get a health bill from the breeder about the parents illnesses. This usually can't be done if you go to a shelter for a dog, and that is encouraged to get a dog from a shelter. To find a dog that fits your lifestyle, you can go to animalplanet.com, and there is a place where you can take a test. Remember to do YOUR homework on your furry friend, know what you are getting into. A dog is a HUGE responsibility, but a rewarding one.
there are so many dog breeds you need to pick the right one before you chose a lot of dogs end up in pounds because they did not know what they were getting in to. If you have sheep you need a heading dog like the border collie or a sheep dog. and if you know the breed you want or have do some research about it
A spayed dog cannot have puppies. If you spay your dog, it eliminates the possibility of the dog getting cancer of the reproductive organs. Your dog will be healthier and happier, overall. You will not have to deal with twice a year heat cycles. Contrary to popular belief, a dog does NOT need to have a litter of puppies before being spayed, having a litter does not make her feel "fulfilled", and there are too many HUNDREDS of dogs being killed in shelters to add to the number by allowing your dog the chance to breed unless you have done a massive amount of research, know WHY you are breeding, and know what you are getting yourself into.
well ... i really don't know and I really don't care. Hi Class 6S!
obisly you know if they ask you quitions about being responsible not neccacarily, they could be hoovering things, talking about dog food, and dog related things...
It can be hard to tell for sure if your dog has a broken rib, but if you even suspect your dog has a broken bone, take the dog to the vet. A dog with a broken rib may cry in pain when touched or petted, or when the dog tries to move around, especially when getting up or lying down.

You may find out if you're getting a dog for your birthday if someone hints at it, talks about it, or you see signs such as pet supplies being bought or arrangements being made. Otherwise, it could be a surprise when you actually receive the dog as a gift on your birthday.
