If you weigh your guinea pig(s) regularly, than if she is pregnant, she would have a great increase in weight.
For the many people who do not weigh their guinea pigs regularly, a simpler way is to simply watch her sides. When guinea-pigs are pregnant, they show a very definite bulk at the sides, particularly when they are picked up (gently) and held vertically (with their back legs being carefully supported). Both sides of the pregnant female have a slight bulge which is different from their normal weight/guinea-pig fat.
You mean PREGNANT. It gets really fat.
Yes.
i will recognize that guinea pig is fat or little thick
you can feel movement in the stomach and they get extremely fat!!
By the time you figure out she is pregnant she won't be far off giving birth (maybe about 2-3 weeks) You will probably notice she has a rounded stomach and is fat only in her stomach area. My guinea pig often stopped and squinted her eyes while she was pregnant - I don't know if only she does it or all do it! Just warning you! Although I don't know exactly how many day after mating - I hope I helped!!
She would be quite fat and would shuffle around restlessly. She probably wouldn't sleep either. If this occurs, take her to a doctor.
Guinea pigs that are fed a rich diet can get very fat, but this is pretty unusual. Guinea pigs are, by nature, grazing animals, which means they will eat regularly throughout the day, usually without over-eating.If you have a very fat female guinea pig, that has had contact with a male, chances are high that she's pregnant.
if it is fat
It gets fat.
This is hard to do early on in the pregnancy. It gets easier as the time goes by because the belly will grow very big. If your pet is just fat and not pregnant you can tell if you can see the babies move.
No just fat
No, just fat
